Traveler, sportsman, passionate about canoeing and Canada, I have itchy feet!

I’ve been practicing outdoor activities several times a week for 27 years.

I started very early to organize and lead expeditions in northern Canada, alone or in groups, totally unsupported, using the canoe as a mode of transport. My playground is located in Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut and my journeys and last three to eight weeks.

On two trips, I won the "youth-challenge" of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in 1995 and I was also awarded a SPB adventure grant, organized by the European Guild Raid in 2009.

In France I love hiking in all regions and most of all I sleep outside under a tent, a tarp or under the stars not matter what the weather brings. I live in Brittany which is a major spot for sea kayaking, an incredible way to travel and bivouac. I go out alone or with friends even if the weather conditions are “bad” because it is often in adversity that I feel the most alive !

Originally, I was a competitive whitewater kayaker, I now practice river running. It’s also the best way to access remote and inaccessible locations.

On the professional side, I worked 11 years for a major sports equipment distributor. I was a technical trainer for sales assistants in charge of the mountain, hiking and travel section. I also supervised a number of sales teams. Since I was in direct contact with various major brands I could improve my knowledge on technical materials and on the savoir-faire linked to the fabrication process.

I knew Hilleberg and Western Mountaineerinf for a long time. I had the opportunity to live 53 consecutive days in the Canadian Arctic pitching and taking a Nammatj 2 GT down every day. After this experience and after handling many other tents I knew that from then on I would only sleep in a Hilleberg tent.

Thanks to my experience on the field and to my professional experience I chose a new lifestyle with the creation of Tentes 4 Saisons, which is a way for me to combine work, family and passion.

Welcome at Tentes4Saisons.
